A few more pages from the last couple of weeks

The purple page is of my mom and my youngest niece working a Disney princess puzzle together. Hayley has always loved puzzles, and she always talks Grandma into helping her!

If it wasn't for Skype, I don't think my DH would ever get on the computer, but he loves being able to see our daughter in Alaska while he's talking to her.

Still working on photos from our trip to Alaska in 2006. One page shows our DD's new home there. The other one shows DD and I trying out her big comfy chair! (The title might say "smile", but we were about to leave for Ohio so there were more tears than smiles that day!)

Another take on an old photo....

I scrapped this photo once before, but that page was framed and given to my mom, so I scrapped it again for my heritage album. I used some vintage Jenni Bowlin papers and embellishments on this page, with lots of inking! I just love getting my hands on some older photos like this - what keepsakes!

The good old days!

I used the March kit from Scrap Attack for this page. The printed sentiment went perfectly with this photo of my son at about 18 months (he's now 28). He was always smiling and happy!

A couple more pages finished this weekend. I love finding old photos, and love being able to scan and fix them up with Photoshop Elements. I guess someday my photos will be someone else's "old" photos, LOL!

A few pages from this week. Just some "ordinary life" pages. DH taking our niece on her first motorcycle ride (back in 2006), our dog Samantha and her pal from next door, and DH starting his garden.

Love those braids!

I love Sassafrass Lass papers with those cool decorative edges, so I was glad to see that M's had some of their papers in stock. They worked perfectly for this fun page about my niece and her braids. She's a cutie patootie!

I love this picture of Katie & Tara. When you live in Fairbanks, Alaska, you can't let a little snow stop you from getting out! (Of course they have about 32" now, so that's more than a "little" snow!)

Here's my DD at 5-1/2 months. Isn't she just glowing? Just 3-1/2 more months til little Gracie gets here!

windy days & long ears don't mix

We've had a few days lately with some serious winds. Poor Ozzie does NOT like windy days - it's tough when you've got long floppy ears!

Way back in 1970....

This photo was taken back in 1970, on a youth group outing to the Cincinnati Zoo. See that goofy guy in the middle with the sunglasses? I ended up marrying him five years later, LOL!
