Our first grandchild!

We're going to be grandparents for the first time - how cool is that! I'm already showing off photos, even if it is just the 10-week sonogram pictures, LOL! (And you'll notice I kept a balance of blue and pink on this page; a grandson or granddaughter either one will be fine with me!)
Love ya, baby Furniss!

Since I can't get to my Thanksgiving decorations or my sewing machine, I made a couple of new items using my scrapbook supplies.

The wall hanging is based on an applique pattern by Harvest Berry Dreams. I used papers from Daisy D's and CBX and some Bazzill cardstock. Did some pen stitching instead of real stitching.

Thanks to Jodi @ Scrap-Friendzy.com for the class on making the Thanksgiving banner. The base is cardstock covered with papers from BG's "Mellow" collection. Used my Cricut Base Camp font for the letters and misc. diecuts, stickers, chipboard, etc. for the embellishments. I feel a little better with at least some Thanksgiving decorations out, LOL!

Back to scrapping (a little)

Well, it's been 7 weeks since the windstorm hit.....our house is still a disaster area....no master bedroom, only half the new roof on, no sewing/scrapping room, and a big dumpster (our third!) parked in front of the house. We didn't have to decorate for Halloween 'cause our house looked scary enough! My scrap supplies are still boxed up in the garage, but I've brought enough into the dining room to get some scrapping done - I need this as my stress release, LOL!

Here are a few layouts I've done recently. Most were challenges from my favorite sites: ScrapAttack, Scrappin Mojo, Scrapbook Heaven, Sassy Scrappers, WeScrap and Scrap-Friendzy.
